Perform[cb] Support

Adding Perform[cb] Tracking Code to Google Tag Manager (GTM)


If you are a marketer using Google Tag Manager (aka GTM), it’s simple to add Perform[cb]'s tracking code, as Perform[cb] is part of GTM's Template Community.



Step 1: Add Perform[cb] Tag


  1. In Google Tag Manager, navigate to the Templates section and click on "Search Gallery"
  2. Search for "PerformCB" and you will find "PerformCB Measurement Tag"
  3. Add this to the workspace



Step 2: Add Click Tracking (Mandatory)


  1. Create New Tag, and under Tag Configuration, select "PerformCB Measurement Tag"


    2. If needed, adjust the ClickID query parameter from "clickid" to the name that your Perform[cb] Account Growth Manager told you (example: utm_content or utm_term)


Step 3: Add Conversion Tracking

  1. Create New Tag, and under Tag Configuration, select "PerformCB Measurement Tag"
  2. Select "Main Conversion" or "Event Conversion"
    1. Leave Click ID field empty and it will automatically read the data from the cookie (implemented on the Click Tag)

For Click Tracking Tag: Enter the parameter used to pass Click ID in the Landing Page URL (examples include clickid and utm_content or utm_term)


For Conversion/Event Tracking Tag, you must leave this field blank

Offer ID

Optional

This is your Perform[cb] Offer ID. You will get this from the Perform[cb] UI or from your Account Growth Manager. 

To utilize a Global Pixel, do not include Offer ID.


*If we are tracking secondary events, an Event ID is mandatory

Pixel Group ID


Optional

This is your Perform[cb] Pixel Group ID 

If you are utilizing an Offer or Global Pixel, ignore this setting.  

*If we are tracking secondary events, an Event ID is mandatory

TRANSACTIONID

Optional


This is where you can pass a TransactionID/Order ID from your system.  This can be used later for any troubleshooting purposes to match events recognized in Perform[cb] to those in your system

Sale Amount 

Optional


For reporting purposes, you can pass your order value / sale amount. This can be used later to calculate ROAS

Payout


Mandatory only for Revshare offersThis parameter can be used to pass in the payout value dynamically for every conversion.  This is the amount you will pay to Perform[cb] for this specific event.  This is only applicable to Revshare type offers.
