Adding Perform[cb] Pixels to HasOffers by Tune

If you are a Marketer using HasOffers, it’s simple to add Perform[cb]'s pixels to your offers! Because HasOffers supports both HTML and Postback tracking, we suggest that you implement both - doing so provides you with the functionality of cookie-based tracking and server-to-server tracking.

Step 1:

The first step involves appending your tracking URL in Perform[cb]'s UI in a way that will allow us to pass you specific data required for Postback tracking - our ClickID. To do this, we will need to add our {clickid} token somewhere in your link that will allow you to receive that data. Here’s an example of how the Tracking URL can be appended:

https://domain.com/….&aff_sub2={clickid}

Step 2:

The second step involves placing Perform[cb] pixels in your HasOffers Instance. To add your pixels, simply go to the “Offers” tab within your instance of HasOffers. Once you open your offer and scroll down, you’ll find a “Your Pixels / Postbacks” section. From there, click on “Add New Pixel/Postback”.

In the dialogue box, you’ll first want to select your pixel format (HTML / JavaScript Code, Image Pixel, or Postback URL). While Image Pixel tracking is available, it is recommended that you utilize Postback and/or iFrame.

Next, you’ll want to select your “Goal”, what HasOffers uses to describe the event. The “default” option would be for your main CPA action, and any additional actions in your flow (like an upsell) would also be listed here. If you would like to track additional events, you will need to return back here to add them separately from your Default Goal.

Lastly, the “Code” box is where you’ll add your Pixel/Postback URL. You’ll want to make sure you replace Perform[cb]'s Placeholders with the appropriate tokens from HasOffers.

Example Postback URL:

https://domain.com/l/con?oid=REPLACEWITHOFFERID&clickid=REPLACEWITHCLICKID&cbtid=TRANSACTIONID

Example iFrame:

<iframe src="https://domain.com/l/con?cbiframe=1&oid=12345&cbtid=TRANSACTIONID" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" width="1" height="1"></iframe>
